Meet Your HYROX Coach: Chris McGlynn

Hey everyone, I’m Chris McGlynn – Head Coach of HYROX at DKIT Sport – and I’m buzzing to bring my experience, energy, and passion for functional fitness to this exciting new chapter.

I’ve been in the fitness industry for 7 years now, and in that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of people. I started out coaching clients one-on-one, helping them hit personal goals and build confidence. Over time, I moved into small group training, where I discovered the power of community and shared accountability – something that really stuck with me.

In more recent years, I’ve immersed myself in the worlds of CrossFit and HYROX. I’ve always had a passion for performance-based training – pushing limits, building resilience, and showing people just how capable they really are. Whether it’s lifting heavier, moving faster, or simply feeling better day-to-day, I love how this style of training can completely transform someone’s life.

I’ve previously owned and managed gyms, and that experience taught me how to build not just great training programs, but strong, supportive fitness communities. Now, I’m bringing that same mindset and energy to HYROX at DKIT Sport.
